Should your child be assessed?
Many parents are led to believe that an ADHD or Autism assessment is the best first step for their child. That’s rarely the case.
We start with a clinician-led Early Support Assessment Call.
A calm, structured conversation to help you understand:
- what’s really going on
- whether an assessment is appropriate right now
- and what support would actually help next

What happens during an Early Support Assessment call?
First, we’ll listen to you and explore the concerns you have for your child, both at home and in education.
Next, we’ll talk about what’s available, including NHS options and our private service. We’ll discuss what a holistic approach with us looks like.
Finally, we’ll be able to recommend the approach that could be best for your child. We’ll provide all the key details to you in a follow-up letter.
Early support calls are free and handled confidentially
A Note from Dr Kate Francis...
As parents, we can easily panic when our children aren’t getting on at school, especially if they might be showing signs of neurodivergence.
It’s easy to jump to into action; getting in line for NHS assessments or even paying out for them privately.
But for most families, looking at the bigger picture and taking a holistic approach, provides the best solution.
That’s why Bene Esse’s service isn’t about jumping to an ADHD, Autism or any other assessment.
Everything starts with working together to truly understand the child’s needs. Only then can we provide care and support that sees them flourish.

Teegan – ASD
“My daughter had an ASD diagnostic assessment with Bene Esse and the relief and pressure that has been lifted from my family, but mainly my daughter, is amazing!
She now has more knowledge of Autism which, in turn is helping her to understand and accept herself. I can’t thank Kate and the team at Bene Esse enough for their part in her journey.”
Henry – ASD
“We’re so grateful for the assessment our 10-year-old son received. The team put him at ease immediately and the detailed report gave us a far greater understanding of his needs and the possible causes behind his behaviours. The process was swift and perfectly timed ahead of his transition to secondary school. Bene Esse also advocated brilliantly for him in securing the right school. With the correct support in place and now in the best environment for him, he’s absolutely flying in Year 7—confident, happy, and able to advocate for himself.”
Penney – ASD
“Bene Esse assessed our 6-year-old daughter for ASD using an in-school approach. She had struggled since a young age with change, sensory sensitivities, and social situations…There was no long wait to see any professionals, and they liaised closely with the school to arrange observations quickly. Since implementing their recommended strategies, Penney is coping far better at school and home life is gradually improving for us all.”
