Referral and Assessment
At the initial stage of a referral or enquiry we will seek to undertake a complete assessment of the individual to determine which treatment approach is the most appropriate.
Once our assessment process is complete we can then discuss the most appropriate therapeutic pathway, which may include a medical approach, non-medical approach or combination of both – Often both pathways complement each other.
We look at the provision of psychological therapies or other remedial practices and therapies, including educational programmes to include the family as a whole and those that care for young people.
All referrals have a triage process. This includes a 15 minute telephone consultation with a Paediatrician to gain an understanding of the concerns and difficulties for the child or young person. There is no charge for this initial telephone consultation and no obligation to take up any additional services with Bene Esse Ltd.
Following the telephone consultation, the referral will be reviewed by a multidisciplinary team including a Paediatrician, Consultant Community Paediatrician and Senior Psychotherapist.
It will be decided at this point of access, whether Bene Esse Ltd is able to offer the service provision required.
If Bene Esse Ltd is able to offer an assessment and therapeutic intervention, a bespoke pack will be sent to the young person/family including a letter detailing the recommended assessment and associated fees.
If Bene Esse Ltd is unable to provide a service we will contact you explaining the reason and provide recommendations to alternative services and resources that may be required.
By completing our enquiries form, a telephone consultation can be arranged for you at a convenient time.
